Objectives of teaching:
Building-up strong knowledge of general physical properties of conductors, insulators and semiconductors, pecularities of various junction types, static and dynamic switching processes, as well as skills in calculation and analisys of parameters that determine the operation of semiconductor devices (e.g. diodes, transistors etc.)
- Laboratory activities in Basic Physics of electronics
Building-up knowledge of varios circuits of power semiconductor converters and their design methods. Students are able to get knowledge of operation principle, parameters and purpose of power semiconductor converters, softwares and methods of their simulation etc.
