The authors had described the lessons-excursions as one of the most effective forms of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The main objective of the research presented in this paper is the detailed description of the methodology of the lesson-excursions. There are exemplary topics such lessons, are indicated by the three functions of the teacher in such classes.
