The goals of teaching of this course are to learn the modern approaches to the problem of dosimetric and radiobiologic radiation therapy planning.

Discipline " Radiobiological basis of radiation therapy" is a special discipline for the masters of the specialty “Nuclear physics and technology”.

The study of this discipline is based on the knowledge gained in the study of subjects "Interaction of ionizing radiation with matter", “Bases of ionizing radiation dosimetry”, “Introduction to nuclear physics”, "Anatomy, physiology and biophysics".

|
Tasks and presentation of the discipline are realized in the following forms of activities: lectures, practical classes, laboratory work.

The study of this discipline is based on the knowledge gained in the study of subjects "Atomic physics", “Introduction to nuclear physics”, "Biochemistry, physiology and human anatomy".
