Course “Testing nanomaterials with scanning probe microscopy NANOEDUCATOR” provided in English, 20 hours

The laboratory course provides the training students to use scanning probe microscopy for studying structure of the nanomaterials surface. After the finishing labs students know the background, features, application and facility of scanning probe microscopy. Particularly, they are able to prepare the sample and etch the probe tip for surface scanning, to get the image of the surface under different modes: scanning tunnel microscopy and atomic force microscopy, to process the image after scanning, and to draw the report of carried out work in English.
