Advertising in communication The discipline deals with advertising development as a means of communication. Advertising process is presented as a method of influence on consumer behaviour. It is expressed by daily work of advertisers, agencies, mass media which leads to specific influence on consumers. Such method helps to define the interaction between advertising and psychology, sociology and other disciplines, and provides profound knowledge of advertising. Tourism advertising Advertising is a special field of communication. It includes fundamentals of advertising at enterprises by means of mass media, strategy interaction of marketing and advertising, peculiarities of product development and specific features of service, legal and ethical aspects of advertising. Advertising campaigns and budget planning are also studied within the discipline. Religion studies The discipline is focused on preparing students for: • understanding the principles of religious consciousness origin and its confessional type in different cultures; • understanding the role of religious institutions in civilization development and features of religious systems in modern society; • free self-determination in beliefs in order to avoid the influence of religious superstition and fanaticism and atheistic nihilism in communication.
