Fursa T.V. is a specialist in the field of Solid-State Physics and Non-Destructive Testing. Fursa T.V. is one of the main developers of new scientific direction in the field of Condensed Matter Physics – mechanoelectric transformations in dielectric materials. She established the basic mechanisms of mechanoelectric transformations, developed scientific bases of non-destructive testing and proposed methods of determining the strength and defectiveness of composite dielectric materials.

Fursa T.V. is a member of the Dissertation Council D 212.269.09. For the last 5 years Fursa T.V. is the research supervisor of 2 RFBR grants, Analytical Departmental Special-Purpose Program theme and 2 themes under the state task “Science”. For the last 5 years under her leadership defended 1 thesis of Candidate of Science and 6 master’s theses.
