Main research areas are new methods and reagents for organic synthesis, chemistry of iodoorganics, carbohydrates, diazonium salts, determination of the chemical composition of some plants, quantum-chemical modeling of organic reactions. In cooperation with Russian medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies we are working on some pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics. So, we explore the synthesis of new diuretics, anticonvusants, Gd-free contrast agents for MRI, natural and synthetic anti-helminth, supply iodoorganic substrates for the production of radiopharmaceuticals, conduct research to create magnetic nano-platforms modified by organic and biomolecules to target drug delivery systems.
