Relevance. In the design of screw downhole motors calculated values its MTBF fluctuate around 300-450 hours. But operation in downhole conditions, using a variety of drilling fluids and at elevated temperatures , this value is reduced to 80-150 hours. The main reason for this is the low durability of the elastomer stator screw downhole motor, manufactured from rubber -type IRP - 1226.As shown by studies test a particular impact on the parameters of elastomers and their technical condition provided by: the temperature in the bottom zone , the type of drilling fluid used and the chemicals . In this regard, the urgent problem is to develop a set of measures to improve the sustainability of the elastomer screw downhole motor when operating in downhole conditions.
