Professional English for Bachelors and Masters We start from Periodic table and discuss chemical elements, nomenclature, chemical reactions and glassware, turn to chemical and biotechnological processes and their current problems and go to reading articles and writing manuscripts. The course starts in 5 term (3 year) and finishes in 11 (6 year). Two professional courses for engineers who work in chemical industry and wants to improve their qualification: Spectral and chromatographic methods in analysis of pharmaceuticals This course is the extended version of spectral and chromatographic structure elucidation of organic compounds. The course consists of two parts: remote (theoretical, homework and tests) and in laboratory (TLC, IR, Mass, UV: sample preparation and analysis). Chromatographic methods in organic chemistry: TLC, GC and HPLC This course includes theoretical and practical knowledge in modern chromatographic methods. We analyze extracts, perform sample derivatisation and statistical analysis of results.
