This program is oriented to the students of the academic exchange who are knowing Russian as foreign in volume of a basic level. The program is developed taking into account communicative needs of students for residence in others country and successful communication in the language environment. This level allows students to satisfy the basic communicative needs in case of communication with native speakers in social, welfare and partially official and household spheres. The program assumes development of all types of speech activities (audition, speaking, reading, the letter), and also mastering grammatical and lexical units within a basic level.

The purpose - formation of elementary communicative competence of students which is understood as ability and readiness of the student to carry out interpersonal and cross-cultural communication with native speakers of Russian in oral and written forms in a limited circle of typical situations and spheres of communication. The program assumes development of all types of speech activity (audition, speaking, reading, the letter), and also mastering grammatical and lexical units within elementary level.
