In 1989 Dmitry Yu. Kuznetsov entered the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering of Tomsk Polytechnic Institute.

In June 1992 he was employed as a computer programmer for the Cybernetic Centre of Tomsk Polytechnic University.

In 1994 > Dmitry Yu. Kuznetsov graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic University with an honours degree in Applied Mathematics.

In 2001 he defended his PhD thesis.

In 2001 Dmitry Yu. Kuznetsov he held the position of a Deputy Director of the Institute of Distance Learning.

Since 2001 Dmitry Yu. Kuznetsov has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Control System Optimization, Institute of Cybernetics.
