V. I. Danilov has begun teaching activity at department of Physics of the Siberian metallurgical institute.

Since 1999, he has been working at the Yurga Institute of Technology, TPU Affiliate as a professor at the departments "Welding Production" and "Metallurgy of Ferrous Metals", where he conducts training courses: "Materials Science", "Progressive Technologies and Structural Materials", "Fundamentals of Crystallography and Mineralogy","Fundamentals of Scientific Research".
