Valery Bespalov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Senior Researcher. Graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Technology and a graduate of the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute. In 1980 he defended his thesis at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute. He worked at the Institute of Nuclear Physics and Research Institute of Introscopy at TPI. Since 1995 he has been working as assistant professor in the Department of Applied Physics of Physics and Technology Faculty of TPU. Research interests: "Interaction of ionizing radiation with matter", "Shielding against Ionizing Radiation," "Monte Carlo Method". Author of more than 80 scientific and methodical publications.
