Directions of Research activities of Professor Bukreev are in the fields of Adaptive and Optimal Control of Non-linear Dynamic Objects, Intelligent Control Systems of Workflows and Industrial Equipment.
Professor Viktor G. Bukreev is Scientific Adviser of persons working for Science Doctor's degree, Post-graduate students and Master students. Under his Guidance 2 Science Doctors, 11 Philosophy Doctors and 15 Masters have already defended their theses.
He is author and co-author of 6 monographs, more than 150 research papers and educational books and more than 30 patents of Russian Federation.
Professor Viktor G. Bukreev has led several Research&Design projects for the industry, has headed 2 grants of Russian Foundation for Basic Research. He participates in development of an automatic system of state estimation and resource control of Li-ion accumulator batteries for space ships.
He is chairperson of a Section at International Conferences in Electromechanics, which have been hold at National Research Toms Polytechnic University, is reviewer of ScD and PhD theses.
Professor Bukreev is a Member of 3 scientific councils of the ScD theses defending in directions: «Systems Analysis, Information Processing and Control (in fields of Information Science, Computer Science and Automation)», «Automation and Control of Workflows and Manufactures (in Industry)», «Electrotechnical complexes and systems».
