The direction of research activity is connected with the study of the fundamental physical and chemical properties of polyatomic molecules by high-resolution spectroscopy, namely with obtaining new physical information, both qualitative and quantitative, about the structure and internal properties of molecules. The objects of study are isotopic varieties of molecules (isotopologues), which are of interest to atmospheric optics and astrophysics. Such molecules include hydrogen sulfide, sulfur oxide, monosilane, ethylene, methane, and many others, that is, those molecules that are contained in the Earth's atmosphere, the atmospheres of other planets, or are part of astronomical objects.
