The basic equations and laws of hydrostatics and hydrodynamics of liquids and gases. The results of solving the main hydrostatic and hydrodynamic equations with respect to the application of their tasks, including the storage and transport of liquids and gases, the main hydraulic calculations, devices, operating principles and methods of selection of pumps and fans; the use of methods of similarity theory for solving practical problems of hydrodynamics. Classification and basic properties of inhomogeneous systems, classification, basic methods of separation of inhomogeneous systems, the basic principles of calculation of separation processes, including calculations of processes of separation by precipitation and filtration; device main types of equipment for the separation of inhomogeneous systems by precipitation and filtration; basic ways of intensification of the processes of separation and increase the efficiency of the equipment.
