Research interests Khmylev V.L. lies in the field of social philosophy. In 1998 he defended his thesis on "The phenomenon of totalitarianism: genesis, essence, form." He is currently working on the topic of "ideology as dominant discursive practices." He took part in the work of national and regional conferences. Over the past three years Hmylev V.L. published six articles, including two in journals recommended by VAK of Russia to publish guidelines master's and doctoral theses. Khmylev V.L. periodically acts as the official opponent on defending his doctoral dissertation, regularly participates in discussions graduate theses Department of Cultural and Social Communication.
