The date of birth: 23.01.1979

Svetlana Azarova graduated with honours Tomsk Polytechnic University in 2001 with qualification of  geoecologist.

Since 2002 up to the present moment she has been working at the Geoecology and Geochemistry Department of TPU.

Educational activities:

2002 – 2005 – postgraduate studies at Tomsk Polytechnic University.

2005 – defense of PhD thesis on “Mining enterprises waste and  comprehensive assessment of their risk for the environment (on the example of  the Republic of Khakassia objects)”

2005 – conferment of the Doctor of Philosophy in geological and mineralogical sciences (speciality 25.00.36 “Geoecology”) at the Dissertation Council of Tomsk Polytechnic University and its approval by the HAC of Russian Federation.

Professional activities:

Experience in teaching is 12 years.

2002 – 2005 – postgraduate student, assistant of the Geoecology and Geochemistry Department.

2005 – 2013 – senior lecturer of the Geoecology and Geochemistry Department.

Since 2013 – associate professor of the Geoecology and Geochemistry Department.
