Shevyrev Sergey was born February 17, 1987 in Zarinsk, Altai Krai. At the age of seven he entered general education school which he combined children's music school. In 2005, having graduated from school with a silver medal, he entered Chemical Engineering Department at the Kuzbass State Technical University where he got a degree in Machines and Equipment for Chemical Industry. During his studies he was entrusted by the student body and the department and faculty administration with the duties of class monitor, where he showed his leadership potential. In 2010, graduated with honors in engineering. During his university studies he also demonstrated a proactive attitude and motivation by participating in a the national student construction brigade in the Altai region as a representative of the Kemerovo region (2009 VSSO "Piket", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Vasily Shukshin). Starting from the third year of studies he showed interest in research carried out by staff of his department which later lead him to join scientific research (combustion and gasification of coal and carbonaceous material). The results of the research were successfully presented at scientific and practical student conferences.
In 2008, his efforts were appreciated and praised by the authorities of Kemerovo.
After graduating from university in 2010, he passed the exams to take postgraduate training in Thermal Physics and theoretical heat engineering, where he continued his research in the field of developing process layouts for Syngas, heat and electricity production from coal mining and coal washing waste.
During the period between 2010 and 2013 he participated in the execution of the state contract GK 14.740.11.0101, aimed at research in the field of energy production from organic raw materials under the federal program "Scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of innovative Russia" for 2009-2013. At the same period he was working on his thesis on Influence of Temperature and Type of Raw Material on the Characteristics of the Synthesis Gas during Oxygen-Free Steam Gasification.
In 2014, he was awarded a third place diploma Best postgraduate student competition in KuzSTU.
Parallel to the postgraduate study he was employed at KuzSTU thermal energy department as an assistant.
He began his professional career in 2006 and worked for companies in Kemerovo and Novosibirsk regions, and Altai Krai:

Shevyrev S.A. is also an active lifestyle and sports enthusiast who defended the honor of the university in intercollegiate volleyball tournament among faculty members in the city of Kemerovo.
Currently Shevyrev S.A. is engaged in scientific work in the field of ignition and combustion of Coal-water slurry and Organic Coal-Water Slurry fuel. Total number of publications by Shevyrev S.A. from 2010 to the present time is more than 35 in different titles.
