Bachelor’s Degree Programme 12.03.01 Instrument Engineering

  • Subject areas: Navigation Instruments
  • Synthesis of Automation Instrumental Equipment>
  • Master’s Degree Programme 12.04.01 Instrument Engineering

  • Systems of orientation, stabilization and navigation
  • p>Navigation Instruments discipline is included in student professional training in Instrument Engineering Programme (12.03.01). This discipline is offered by the Institute of Non-Destructive Testing, Precision Instrument Making Dept., TPU.

This discipline focuses on student skills in and knowledge of instruments and systems which assist in detecting the attitude position of mobile objects. Students must know design principles of navigation instruments, estimate measurement errors and apply these systems depending on the kind of objects and operating conditions.

"Synthesis of automatic devices " discipline is included in student professional training in Instrument Engineering Programme (12.03.01).

This discipline is offered by the Institute of Non-Destructive Testing, Department of precision engineering, TPU.

This discipline focuses on student skills in and knowledge of synthesis and analysis of automation instrumental equipment; application of the optimum control, filtering, identification as well as computer programs for modeling instruments and systems..

Students must know design principles of navigation instruments, estimate measurement errors and apply these systems depending on the kind of objects and operating conditions.

The content of this discipline covers the operating principle and main components of a tracking system; requirements for system frequency responses determined by preset precision; dynamic, moment, and instrumental errors of the tracking system; methods of analysis and synthesis (analytical, graphical, numerical); correction of automation instrumental equipment; computation and choice of system components.

"Systems of orientation, stabilization and navigation " discipline is included in student professional training in Instrument Engineering Programme (12.04.01).

This discipline is offered by the Institute of Non-Destructive Testing, Department of precision engineering, TPU.

This academic programme provides students with skills in and knowledge of using and designing modern gimballess and gimballed inertial systems, theory and practice of attitude control systems, design of gyroscopes and accelerometers.
