The “Introduction to project activity” discipline (1st year, 2nd semester) includes:
- students' familiarization with basics of project activity, which allows to make competent decisions in coordinating people, equipment, materials, financial assets, and design graphs in order to carry out projects within the set time limits and budget, and to the client's (consumer's) satisfaction;
- shaping students' knowledge in project management, as well as their readiness to apply it using modern software;
-forming students' skills of setting goals, structuring existing information, and working out solutions for set tasks. Search for resources for project implementation and execution of project documentation. During classes students immerse into the basics of project activity through various interactive learning forms. According to their work's results they split into groups of 3–7 persons and develop their own projects' concepts, which they later present at EEE students' conference, after which they start searching for partners and implementing the project. Financial support can be obtained from sponsors, partners, credit institutions (banks), interested consumers, and also through the EEE project fair.
