Ksenia S. Silina graduated from the Tomsk State Pedagogical University, Faculty of Foreign Languages in 2001.

In 1998-2009 Kseniya S. Silina worked as a secondary school teacher of French language at the school №4 in Tomsk. From 2004 to 2007 she cooperated with the town gymnasium № 24 where she taught French and the Tomsk pedagogical College where she gave the classes of Latin language to the intended teachers of foreign languages.

Since 2009 up to the present time, Ksenia S. Silina has been working at the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language of the Institute of International Education and Language Communication in the capacity of a senior lecturer. From March to July of 2011 she worked at Jilin University (the People's Republic of China) where she taught Russian as a foreign language to Chinese students enrolled on the educational program «2+2».
