Course objective is to introduce students to the complex functioning of the enterprise in modern economic conditions.

The aim is to help students acquire basic principles and techniques of economic activity in the enterprise and learn how to apply this knowledge in practice.

Course outline: Basic economic concepts and indicators of business activity. Approaches to economic valuation of natural resources, economic evaluation of investment in environmental management and environmental engineering. Monetary relations, fiscal policy. Current level of water use, types of anthropogenic pressures on water resources.

Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented option of environmental activities, determining the economic value of natural resources and services;

Evaluate resources; plan resource support of the company;

Draft regulatory guidance documents in the field of water resources;

Organize and monitor the status of water bodies;

Apply the knowledge in the field of geology and hydrogeology in matters of environmental areas, reclamation, remediation, protection and conservation of land and water.
