Computer simulation of stiff hybrid systems

Specification:
Development of mathematical, algorithmic and software for the analysis of dynamic and hybrid systems (HS). Using HS methodology in the subject applications: chemical kinetics and chemical-technological systems, electrical power systems, automation, mechanical, biological systems, and others.

Tasks:
  1. Development of tools for hybrid systems specification.
    • Text specification of discrete-continuous behavior.
    • Graphic language for hybrid systems specification.
    • Domain-oriented graphical (automatic, power systems) and textual (chemistry) specification languages.
    • Equivalence of specification languages.
  2. Event-continuous computer models.
  3. Algorithms for the numerical analysis of discrete and continuous behavior.
    • Explicit numerical methods with stability control.
    • (м,к)-methods of Rosenbrock type.
    • Adaptive integration algorithms.
    • Automation construction of solvers.
    • Correct HS events detection.
    • Control of the computational process. Active experiment.
  4. Simulation results interpretation tools.
    • Visualization of charts in the time and the phase sheets.
    • Operations with the results of calculation: analysis and data compression.
    • 3D visualization and animation tools.
