Facilities

Laboratories of this department are equipped with up-to-date booths and equipment that allow studying the details to provide the demanded accuracy of elements, components and the measuring objects and engineering processes, and also methods and means to control the quality and measurement accuracy support systems during the production and products distribution. The department has centers, rooms and laboratories equipped with up-to-date measurement and testing equipment and computers.

The department provides every student with a work place in computer class with the Internet access according to the number of the subjects studied. The access is provided in an amount of 1 place in computer class for 10 students. The department has a necessary set of the licensed software.

The department uses mathematical packages Matlab, MathCad, measuring system raphical programming system NI LabVIEW 2009, electronics simulation package NI Multisim 10, virtual measuring devices package NI ELVIS, microcontroller programming package AVRStudio4, a set of requirements documents “Kodex”.
