Course of study core units:

• power fuel and fuel utilization efficiency;
• furnace design and heat exchange aspect inside a furnace;
• heating surface placing, operational factors and computation methods;
• operations of boiler units.

Through the course students complete a term project. Boiler is the term project main object which is a part of an industrial factory boiler unit. Among offered term paper subjects are plans call for a steam or water heating boiler thermal design using referee method with its results analysis.

Through the course practical work students perform water treatment process chart calculations for Power industry. Through the course laboratory work students develop skills to perform water analysis and water treatment applying various methods.
