• In 2007-2008 Irina I. Tyurina was involved in the development of methodological and learning resources for realization of the program "2+2" within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between Tomsk Polytechnical University and Jilin University (China), (co-authored);
• From 2010 to 2014 she developed academic programs, calendar thematic plans, exam papers and presentations for 3 lecture courses "Russian as a foreign language: the professional field of communication" (“History of Russian literature before XX century”, “History of Russian literature of XX century”, “Sphere of concepts of Russian culture”;
• She designed and placed 2 sets of teaching materials in Russian as a Foreign Language on the web;
• 2 student teaching manuals were published in the period of 2009-2012 (1 co-authored);
• Over the past 5 years Irina. I. Turina participated in 8 scientific-methodological seminars and conferences, published 16 scientific and research papers, including 4 co-authored ones with foreign students, 3 articles in national journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission and foreign editions.
• In 2009-2013 she delivered short-term training courses in “Methodology of Teaching Russian as a foreign language” at TPU.
