In 1969 he graduated from the Tomsk Polytechnic Institute on specialty “ Automation and Electronics ”.
In 1980 he defended his thesis presented for the degree of Candidate of Science.
He has held the following positions in TPU:
• 1969 – 1971 Engineer, the Research Department of Physicotechnical Faculty • 1971 – 1972 Senior Engineer, the Research Department of Physicotechnical Faculty • 1972 – 1975 Junior Research Scientist, Physicotechnical Faculty • 1975 – 1978 Engineer, the Research Department of Physicotechnical Faculty • 1978 – 1981 Head of the Laboratory, Physicotechnical Faculty • 1981 – 1985 Head of the department “Hydrodynamics and Heat and Mass Transfer”, the Research Department of Heat and Power Faculty • 1985 – 1988 Head of Laboratory, the Research Department of Heat and Power Faculty • 1988 – 1992 Senior Lecturer, Department of automation of heat power processes of Heat and Power Faculty • 1992 – 2015 Associate Professor, Department of automation of heat power processes
