The overall goal of discipline is to provide students with basic knowledge on the composition and functions of automation systems in the oil and gas industry, principles of creation of systems of automatic control, types and operation principles of technical means of automation. The study subjects will enable students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for solving problems of analysis and synthesis of automatic control systems, the development of technical, algorithmic and software of automated control systems of technological processes of transport and storage of oil and gas.
