Skoropeshkin Vladimir Nikolaevich was born on 1951 the village Mogochino Tomsk region.

In 1968 with the silver medal he graduated from high school Shegarskoe district of the Tomsk region.

1973 – Qualification of engineer on specialty "Automatics and telemechanics"; Tomsk Polytechnic University.

1973 - 1977 – Assistant Professor of Automation and telemechanics, Tomsk Polytechnic University.

1982 – Defended Ph.D. thesis on "Development and study of decomposition algorithms for solution of optimization tasks when designing the process control system of continuous production".

1983 - 1984 – Senior lecturer of Automation and computer systems, Tomsk Polytechnic University.

1984 – present – Associate Professor, Department of Automation and computer systems, Tomsk Polytechnic University.
