Sergey Seryakov is PhD of geological and mineralogy sciences, Head of the Department of General geology and land management at Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU).

After the graduation from Tomsk State Pedagogical University in 2003 arrived in postgraduate study to professor Gennady M. Rogov.

In 2007 Sergey Seryakov received a Ph.D.

From 2003 to 2012 Sergey Seryakov worked in Tomsk State University Architecture and Building (TSUAB) as a teacher, assistent of professor.

From 2012 Sergey Seryakov work in TPU.

Sergey Seryakov published more than 30 scientific works, including 8 textbooks.
