In the process of learning students develop the following competencies: ability to determine the scope of the discipline in their professional activities; the ability to estimate the parameters of dangerous and harmful factors of the technosphere according to the normative documents; the ability to choose the optimal methods of control and protection from hazardous and harmful factors; the ability to identify factors of emergencies and measures to ensure safety in emergency situations; ability to define requirements for the organization of the workplace according to regulatory documents; the ability to identify the factors of negative human impact on the environment and methods of environmental safety.
