Objectives of learning: the formation of future specialists ' professional culture of safety, which is understood as the willingness and ability of the individual to use in the professional activities of the acquired body of knowledge and skills for safety in the sphere of professional activity, the nature of thinking and values, in which safety issues are viewed as priority. In the process of learning students develop the following competencies: ability to determine the scope of the discipline in their professional activities; the ability to estimate the parameters of dangerous and harmful factors of the technosphere according to the normative documents; the ability to choose the optimal methods of control and protection from hazardous and harmful factors; the ability to identify factors of emergencies and measures to ensure safety in emergency situations; ability to define requirements for the organization of the workplace according to regulatory documents; the ability to identify the factors of negative human impact on the environment and methods of environmental safety.
