Abstract of the discipline: the syllabus on «Mathematics 1.1» is designed at the Natural Science Department, Yurga Technological Institute.The syllabus is intended for first-year students of the direction of technosphere safety.
The goals of the discipline are:
• training in the basics of mathematical knowledge;
• acquiring experience in constructing mathematical models;
• conducting the necessary calculations within the constructed models;
• using mathematical symbols for calculation of limits and derivatives.
Structure of the course:
• Linear algebra;
• Vector algebra;
• Analytical geometry;
• Introduction to analysis. Theory of limits;
• Differential calculus.

• Complex numbers;
• Integral calculus;
• Differential equations;
• The theory of series.

The goals of the discipline are:

• Probability theory;
• Mathematical statistics.

• My research interests lie in the field of pedagogica. Particularly, I am interested in the psychological and pedagogical framework for self-regulating learning of students. My scientific interests are reflected in the ongoing research publications.
