Students receive knowledge about the structure of the soil profile; soil properties; mineralogical composition; physical and physico-chemical properties of the soil; chemical and microbiological composition of soil; classification of soils and their distribution on the globe; methods of obtaining information on the structure and properties of soil in the laboratory; the ability to use the acquired knowledge and skills to use in technological and design solutions.
