The compositions and properties of circulating in the well cleaning agent should provide trouble-free drilling with high technical - economic indicators and qualitative opening of productive horizons, i.e., normal wells in the drilling process.

The main goal of discipline is to instill future professionals in-depth knowledge, allowing for specific geotechnical drilling conditions independently and creatively solve problems associated with the removal of degradation products from wells achieving the fulfillment of the geological and technical problems with the least expenses of time and money not harming the environment. The aim of the discipline is to study the treatment agent functions, as well as methods of their quality assessment; characteristics and materials for the preparation of drilling fluids regulating properties of their type, capabilities, and other related matters.
