Course summary: Formation of knowledge and skills in the field of automatic control theory in the development, design and adjustment of automatic power control systems for domestic nuclear power reactors, as well as the ability to apply methods of mathematical description of nuclear power plants as control objects. Laboratory classes are held at a real research reactor of Tomsk Polytechnic University - IRT-T and are devoted to the study of the general technological scheme of the reactor, as well as the study of control system schemes, emergency protection and reactor start-up.
