Was born in Tomsk in 1979. In 2002, he graduated with honors from the Physics Department of Tomsk State University, qualification - physicist, specialty - condensed matter physics. In 2002-2005, he studied at the full-time postgraduate course of the IPPM SB RAS. In 2005 he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences "Deformation of surface layers during friction and factors affecting the tribological properties of metals". He defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences "Formation of the gradient structure of metals and alloys under conditions of adhesive interaction during sliding friction and friction stir welding" in 2016. In 2013, he was appointed head of the newly created laboratory for quality control of materials and structures. In 2016-2018, he worked as Deputy Director for Development of the Institute of High Technology Physics of the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University. Supervised the component part of the project to improve competitiveness and the strategic academic unit "Space Materials Science". Since 2017, co-director on the part of FANO of the Interdepartmental Project Office "Advanced Materials, Technologies and Structures" of the FANO of Russia and the State Corporation Roscosmos. Since May 2018, Deputy Director for Research, IPPM SB RAS. He is a member of the Academic Council and the Doctoral Dissertation Council D003.038.02 at the IPPM SB RAS.
He is married and has two children.
