Course summary: the course refers to the main part of the master curriculum of the professional module: 13.04.03 Power engineering with training profiles: 1. Boilers, steam generators and combustors research and design; 2. Production technologies and diagnostics of power equipment. The purpose of the study is to explore the foundations of information technologies in solving engineering research and educational tasks, as well as the understanding of the technical software design features, characteristics and principles. The main course sections: - Section 1. Information technology in the production cycle facilities;
- Section 2. Software for engineering calculations;
- Section 3. Modern engineering automation and engineering analysis systems (CAE).
