2006 – graduated from the Institute of Language Communication of Tomsk Polytechnic University and became the tutor at the Chair of Theory and Practice of Translation (since 2007 – the Chair of Linguistics and Translation Studies).
Olga Korenevskaya has taught the following disciplines: Introduction into Simultaneous Interpreting, Consecutive Interpreting, Language of Administration, Basics of Translation, Language of Presentations. Also, teaches the course of Professional English at the Master Courses of Heriot-Watt Approved Support Centre.
Olga Korenevskaya is the author of manual “Language of Administration” and the teaching materials complex “English for Petroleum Engineers”.
The topic of Ph.D. thesis is “Representation of the Russian world in German Translations of “The Brothers Karamazov” by Fyodor Dostoyevsky”. Has published 27 research papers and won an individual grant by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to hold research at the Institute of Slavic Studies at the Kiel University, Germany, in 2006.
Regional competitions won: Prize of the Governor of Tomsk Oblast in the sphere of education and science (2005), Prize of the State Duma of Tomsk Oblast for young researchers (2006).
Works as a simultaneous and consecutive interpreter at various high-level events held in Tomsk, including Innovation Forums (2008, 2009), Siberian-Taiwanese Innovation Forum (2009), Forum of Cardiologists (2010). Has provided interpreting for Gazprom-Transgaz-Tomsk during the audit of Sakhalin Energy Investment Company and during the visit of Sakhalin Energy top management to Tomsk Polytechnic University (2009). She also regularly works as an interpreter at Polus LLC.
