Discipline "Mineral" refers to the cycle of "C.3 Professional". PLO specialist training in the direction of 21.05.04 "Mining".

As a result of studying the discipline the student should know: the role and place of enrichment techniques in the processing of coal, iron ore, non-ferrous and rare metals, construction and mineral mining and chemical raw materials, man-made products; the theoretical foundations of methods of enrichment; designs, specifications, performance data equipment and vehicles used in the mineral processing; principles of technological schemes allowing for the material composition of various raw materials, economic and environmental factors.
