The course is designed to present history of Russia in concepts and events and to show Russian approach in history studying.
You will be able to:
• identify theoretical backgrounds of historical approaches in Russia;
• examine trends of the Russian historical process;
• use principal historical terms concerning history of Russia;
• apply key concepts and methods of historical science in the analysis of processes, phenomena and events of the past and current Russian social problems Oriental Studies
The main target of the course is to offer modern conceptions on the history of Oriental civilizations in the Ancient and Medieval periods, their origin and features.
You will be able to:
discuss key basic theoretical and methodological problems of Oriental history;
point main historical events and facts for Middle Asia, Far East in th Ancient and Medieval periods Computer technologies and Science
The course is to show the influence of Computer Science on Scientific research.
Having successfully completed this module, you will be able to: apply computer technology tools and Internet applications in your research work;
rate science fields with the help of scientometrics tools;
review special scientific applications. Scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and East Asia
The course is devoted to background for innovative development Russia and East Asia countries.
Having successfully completed this module, you will be able to:
define basic problems in the research and development in East Asia;
discuss strategies of innovative development tools;
range tools for innovative development with social and economic development;
read critically key articles on cooperation between Russia and other Asian countries in innovative development.
