The given working program is formed on the basis of the State educational standard for training engineers and bachelors in Technological Machines and Equipment, Welding Equipment and Technology and the standard Program Electrical Engineering Courses for non-electrotechnical professions provided for higher educational institutions. The structure, contents and the program design are equivalent to the TPU standard "STP TPU 2.0.01-99".

The essence and the order of studying the theoretical material, topics for laboratory works and tutorials, topics for individual works, information about kinds of student knowledge control, a list of main and supplementary literature, and a list of methodical and visual aids are presented in the working Program.
