Mariya O. Abdrashitova graduated with the first class honours from Tomsk State University, Tomsk Russia in 2002 with specialization “Philologist. Teacher of English, Russian and World Literature”. In 2013, she was awarded a degree of candidate of Philological Sciences (equivalent to PhD in Philology).

In 2013, Mariya O. Abdrashitova was promoted to the position of Assistant professor.

In 2014 she joined the department of Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages at Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU). Since then, she has been working there teaching the University staff various courses within advanced training programs.
