The issue of increasing the performance of diamond burnishing has been solved through the use of pneumatic bearing elements that allow to significantly increase burnishing speed from 20 to 300 mpm without the onset of self-oscillation in the indentor. Laboratory facilities

- Development of mandrel constructions for diamond burnishing of worn out high-precision formed surfaces using pneumatic bearing elements.
- Study of the process of high-speed diamond burnishing, refining of industrial use modes in mass manufacturing of new parts.
