International Scientific Educational Laboratory for the Improvement of Wellbeing Technologies of Older Adults

Leading Scientist: Fabio Casati (Fabio Casati), professor of the department of engineering and computer science of the University of Trento (Italy).

Research interests: technology of well-being, social networks, business process management, technology transfer. He published over 160 scientific papers in journals indexed database Scopus, Web of Science, registered more than 20 patents.

The direction of research: Evaluation and improvement of the social, economic and emotional well-being of older people.

Project Objectives: The overall objective is to determine the methods and policies that improve the welfare of the elderly, with particular attention paid to emotional well-being. This is a difficult and ambitious goal involves a number of intermediate objectives, namely:

  1. understanding the factors that affect the well-being of older people (from the economic to the social situation, consumer choice, living conditions, religious beliefs, health);
  2. development and integration of technologies for monitoring the well-being;
  3. development of methods of experimental and behavioral economics and positive psychology that will identify priority areas of cooperation between business, government and society in the field of improving living standards and economic competitiveness.oving living standards and economic competitiveness.

Our main tasks:

  1. The implementation of research activities (under-stated preferred direction of research), including government and non-governmental organizations and other legal entities and individuals;
  2. Study and generalization of domestic and international experience in the direction of research;
  3. Dissemination of research results;
  4. Involvement in research work TPU students, research teachers and other employees of TPU;
  5. Use the results of research and development in the educational process;
  6. Organization of joint research activities with Russian, foreign and international organizations.
