P.S. Ananin was born in 1942 in the Tomsk region. In 1968 he graduated from the Tomsk institute of radio electronics and electronic technics (speciality is «Radio electronic devices», qualification is radio engineer).
In the same year he entered correspondence postgraduate study. In 1981 he passed candidate's dissertation defense. The subject of dissertation was «Development and application of spark and streamer chambers in physical experiments».
At the present time, he has been working for Tomsk Polytechnic University (Institute of Physics and Technology, Laboratory №22) in position of senior research.
