2011–Present: Leading Specialist & Leading Research Fellow. RI Cardiology (Tomsk, Russia). Research project: Development of innovative nanotechnology for treatment of atherosclerosis and blood lipid disorders.

2011–2014: Scientific Adviser for Telemedicine Project. Interuniversity Student Business Incubator (Tomsk, Russia).

2008–2011: Postdoctoral Research Associate at Calgary University (Calgary, Alberta, Canada). Research projects: (1) Electrophysiological characterization of L- and T-type Ca2+ currents in cerebral arterial smooth muscle cells. (2) Electrophysiological characterization of TRPC-like non-selective cation current in vascular smooth muscle cells from cerebral arteries. (3) Studying the role of cytoskeleton and integrins in the regulation of inward rectifying potassium channels in smooth muscle cells from cerebral arteries.

2005–2008: Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Albany Medical College, Center for Cardiovascular Sciences (Albany, NY, USA). Research projects: (1) Abelson tyrosine kinase (Abl) and Crk-associated substrate (CAS) in the regulation of vascular smooth muscle contraction. (2) Cytoskeleton in the regulation of excitation-contraction coupling in the smooth muscle cells.

1998–2005: Docent at the Siberian State Medical University (Tomsk, Russia). Research projects: (1) Cell volume-sensitive mechanisms in the regulation of vascular smooth muscle contractility. (2) Contractile regulation of pulmonary artery smooth muscle.

May–August 2002: Trainee at the Institute of Anatomy – Charité, Humboldt University, (Berlin, Germany). Project: THP expression and distribution in kidneys of diverse animal species in vitro.

1994–1998: PhD student. Candidate of Medical Sciences thesis: Epithelium-dependent contractile responses of airway smooth muscle (Siberian State Medical University, Tomsk, Russia).

1993–1994: Graduate student. Graduate thesis: Intracellular signaling mechanisms in the NO-induced relaxation of the airway smooth muscle (Siberian State Medical University, Tomsk, Russia).
